Shipping policies

Please take in consideration that I’m not responsible for seizes at customs or damage to items. Please read these policies.

How will my item be shipped?

Your item will be carefully packed and shipped by the Dutch postal service PostNL. You will receive a tracking number so you will be able to track your order. We try to ship your order in 1-3 workdays.

Which countries do we ship to?

In general I offer worldwide shipping, but there are some exceptions for specific items. For specimens that are listed as CITES I only offer shipping within the EU, since these specimens require extra documentation when exported to countries outside the EU that handle the CITES laws.

At each product page you can see if the specimen is listed as CITES and can be shipped worldwide. If you have any questions regarding the laws you can contact me through the contact page.

Shipping rates and insurance

All your purchases will be sent with insurance and a tracking number.

The rates will be calculated in your cart.

Buying multiple items

If you purchase multiple items I will do my best to safely fit them into one package. If the order has to be split up in multiple packages to ensure safe arrival of the purchased items, or if the package is over the weight limit (2kg outside of the Netherlands) I will send you an additional invoice for the extra shipping costs.

How long does it usually take for an order to arrive?

Shipping within the Netherlands packages usually take 1-2 business days to arrive. Shipping to countries within Europe can take between 3 to 10 business days, but sometimes it takes a longer. Shipping to the rest of the world can take up to 3 weeks or more. It also can take longer when a packages are hold up in customs.

Normally packages will be offered 1 time or will be delivered at the local post office. Packages that are not collected are normally shipped back to me. If I need to reship it, you have to pay again for the shipping costs. Please keep in mind when packages are send retour it takes a very long time for the delivery. For orders to the USA: use the website of USPS. Please look at your tracking number and follow your package and make sure you claim it in time.

I pack our orders with the greatest care but I don’t have influence how post services handle packages. I ship with insurance in case a packages goes missing the postal service will set up an investigation to locate the package.

Please think it through before buying your taxidermy item as I prefer to do not take returns. I do not want to have our items shipped back because of the fragility of the specimens and the time and care it takes to pack them carefully. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
